With all the new Circuit City ads on the site, in new places, and obviously created with this site in mind (because of the exact match with colors) I'm guessing either Circuit City is paying a lot, or there is a commission program going on?

Where do you see the Circuit City ads? Are you referring to AVSmarts?

Maybe they created the adds to match this site. This site has been this way for awile now. I'm just glad that there has been no more of those darn pop up adds. As to the commission program. I hope he gets something out of all the work he puts into this site.--Dave.

I don't see any such ad here or on the home page.
Where do you see it on this page? At the top there is a T3 network add (UK companies) and below it is the site controls in the shape of a TS remote. on the side there is contest, BDT award, what's new, and new reviews.

Sigh. You're very unobservant. On this page is a 127x65 image just to the left of my last post, right under the AVSMARTS ad.

Ummmmmmm..... I'm with Anthony. I have never seen a Banner Ad from anywhere but the T3 Network at the top, and while I have noticed the spacing between AVSmarts sponsorship and the latest reviews, I have NEVER seen an ad there.

And I'm pretty sharp at noticing things like that.

When I click there, I get the outline, but can't even get a "right-click Show Picture" of the ad.

All I have is my cookies set in IE6 not to create them for outside ad companies, but nothing to hide the actual ads.

Silly me. A couple of days ago, I did wonder why Daniel had the word "SPONSORS" above that area, when all I ever saw was AVSmarts.

I wonder why Anthony and and I are not seeing the ads?

Yes, they are advertising. As for not seeing them, it seems they're trying to target US-customers only (which makes sense since they're US-based). I strongly doubt the ads were created specifically for Remote Central though.

I am seeing the CC ads, maybe our superior US eyesight;)

But all the same, WHO cares???

Dan, got stock in Best Buy?

I care, because I always wonder whether or not my system is screwing up. But, thankfully, it's usually Remote Central that has all the problems!! ;-)

Yeah, right!

Daniel: Are you saying that their ads are checking where you live, and if you're not in the U.S., they don't show up?
