This question pertains to the new Yahoo! Instant Messenger with the video / webcam feature.
The image displayed in my Yahoo "preview window" is *very* different from what my friends get to see on their computer. For example, my head vertically and horizontally appears to be centered in my preview window, but my friends see the lower half of my chest and stomach (good thing I was appropriately dressed :)
When I view my webcam with another application, such as Intel Video Monitor or MS Net Meeting, my preview window matches what my counterpart sees.
Has anyone else experienced inaccurate previews in the new Yahoo Messenger? How can I "correct" the preview?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Solved the problem.
My computer is a hand-me-down, and the previous owner was a developer of video applications. There were 20+ CODECS and drivers installed that were conflicting with each other.
All is fine after deleting the old CODECS and reinstalling the web cam drivers.
