It finally came to me as if in a dream...I have been using a Xantech IR repeater system in my basement/bar area to control my equipment located in my office upstairs - I use a Harmony 676 and most of the time it works just fine but once in a while it just won't...it acts like I have dead batteries or something. So after months of frustration, I finally fiqured it out today !! The problem only occurs when I have my neon light on in my bar area - no kidding it seems to interfere with the IR signals somehow. I am very pleased to have discovered the answer and now I am wondering if someone can explain this to me or maybe someone had a similar problem ???
