Arhhh remotefx what type of remote controls are you asking these questions about ?
1.The general public about supplied with product remotes?
2.or is it for people who have bought universal remotes?
3.or is it for proffesional feedback from people who programme remotes a living and know the pro's and cons of remotes?

The Home theatre forum would be a good place for questions 1 and 2
and for question 3 The Custom installers Forum.

Personally i feel the best remote in terms of supplied with a product remote in the UK has to be the SKY Digital remote. Every person i know with a SKY box can use it (young or old).It has a simple layout and can be made to work most brands of TV's as this Sky Digital remote is the same remote no matter what brand of SKY box(there are many makes of sky box but they all use the same remote) once learned its the standard.

If you want a laugh post the questionaire here .

I see no use for remote controls. No one with kids will ever buy one :P

i). Nope - I just borrow my niece and nephew... then I give 'em back when they get obnoxious. (Nice still being under 30.) :P

ii). Thank God, NO!!!!!!
