I don't know if this is the right forum to ask this but I downloaded the code book/manual for the Philips universal remote pm435s on this website and when I opened the file is was just gibberish. Does anyone know why I couldn't see the actual manual.

Did you click on the english version, or the gibberish version?

To quote ol curty cobs boy back at yer wingsOfead

"If you ever need anything please don't hesitate to ask someone else first."

PS it worked first time for me.I suspect you have a dodgy PDF reader of zip aplication. i would download the latest Adobe PDF reader 7.0 see here and see if that works.

[Link: adobe.com]

note the options for Yahoo tool bar can be de selected if you want.

if after all that it still doesnt work ask me what you need to know and i'll tell you from the copy i have.

P.S i have sent you the unzipped PDF via e-mail in case your zip isn't working
Bob

Two parrots sitting on a perch, one says to the other, "Can you smell fish"?

An oldie, but goodie. Better spoken than written; one gets quite a few puzzled looks, until the penny finally drops.

You're right, I just tried it on my wife, and she looked at me like I was an idiot (which is not unusual) but then she started cracking up when she got it.
