Looking at those speakers and a small design issue came up......how high are those tweeters off the ground? 60"? You would think they would be just a little high to put a listener in the "sweet spot." It would be like having an inwall speaker at that height, good for background sound, but they're a little too expensive for that :) Maybe you have seen these: [Link: audioholics.com]

And these are probably a little higher . . .
PMC BB5-XBD-AAlthough stacked is PMC's preferred method of mounting (MB2/BB5 on top of XBD) one can, if needs be, mount them side by side; a little like this, in fact . . .

I have a solution for tall speakers.
Install a 'lift kit' on the furniture! ;-)

An immaculate BP25 (list circa £2000) with a little under 18 years of a 20 year transferable warranty remaining; I would say yes, but you could always haggle a little. Note though that the BP25 doesn’t have a phono input, whereas the BP25P does; and it just so happens there’s one of those on fleabay at this very moment. Might be interesting to track it.

I like the suspended phase plug bullet over the face of the TWELVE inch driver... those were orignally engineered to keep larger full range or midrange drivers from beaming (the "megaphone" characteristic of cones at higher frequencies) before the hand off to the tweeter which has significantly different dispersion characteristics.
How high is that big driver playing anyway??
