This thing is pissin' me off. I can find out numbers for just about any shape, but none of the codes are working.

I had to give up... I figured the writing on the poster meant something, and I couldn't read it. Have you figured it out Mr. Griffiths?

Have you done everything? It wont let you open the safe without doing everything first.
Did you find the Coin?

It looks like a key or coin sticking out of the safe's head, but it won't give you anything to click on. I have not found a coin yet...

I will try again...I've got nothing better to do...

No thats not a coin that a golden key for the bottom draw. You need a silver key first to get the tweezers to get that key out.

Must have missed something too.

Think I've been everywhere and got everything, but the code I've worked out doesn't open the safe.

Warning Spoiler

  • Picked up the pen

  • Found cassette tape

  • Found scrap of paper - - Open Triangle = 4

  • Picked up darts

  • Found number sequence behind bed 9, 12, (Filled Square), 20, 1. Filled Square = 5 (sequence on dart board).

  • Found coin

  • Found book under bed

  • Found diagram on top shelf

  • Used cassette with diagram - - Open Star = 3

  • Taken picture out of frame

  • Used picture to work out book code - - Circle = 2

  • Found Silver key

  • Found Tweezers in Silver drawer

  • Picked up Gold Key

  • Found Knife in Gold Drawer

  • Used coin to take cover off lamp unit on shelf

  • Picked up bulb

  • Placed bulb in desk lamp

  • Turned off main light

  • Found equations;
Filled Star - Filled Star = Filled Star. Filled Star = 0
    Circle + Filled Square = Open Square. Open Square = 7 (2+5)
Open Triangle - Open Star = Filled Triangle. Filled Triangle = 1 (4-3)

  • Used pen and darts on poster

  • Cut poster with knife

  • Safe code = Open Square, Filled Triangle, Open Triangle. My calculations/guesswork makes that 714, but it doesn't open the safe.

  • ?

The silver key is behind the stereo but you have to look at the stereo from the side angle it's a tiny spec at the back.

Sorry Marky, I was a bit rushed sorting the dinner out. Anyway, here you are . . .

Warning Spoiler

  • The silver key is behind the boom box. Look down the room ("your" back to the dart board) and you'll see a sneaky little protuberance.

  • As far as it goes, my thinking re. the exit code was correct. What I wasn't aware of, until I looked at the book under the UV light (that's what I missed before), is that Open Triangle with the apex pointing up is a diffent value to Open Triangle with the apex pointing down. As Bob says, the exit code is 718; though overall not a bad performance after a night shift.
