I bought a car DVD player of ford about a week ago. It has been working up until about 3 days ago. Every time i put a disk into it i get a message saying loading, then it says error. The player is found here:

I bought a lense cleaner, and i got the same error report.

Will it read an audio CD?

If you still have the 'red box' DVD, does it look dirty/smudged to you in any way?

Sounds like you bought a knock-off DVD player, you should return it and get your money back, if you can.
