hey,there
I wanna buy a new blu-ray player,my old DVD sucks.I just wanna know blu-ray will replace DVD in the future, cuz the blu-ray movies are expensive now.
I find a Haier Blu-ray Disc Player, not sure about the quality.I also think of getting a PS3.
What's you opinion?

I say go with the S580 which is also 3D capable but has built in wi-fi and other good options for about 50-60 bucks more but just my opinion...

A friend of mine uses Sony Play Station to watch Blu-rays. It has a bunch of graphic processors and outputs a great quality without lags =)

Well based on my experience, it's better to buy Sony Blu Ray Players. The first one I ever bought was a Samsung, and it broke just little over a year after I bought it (1 year manufacturer warranty was useless), but I've now had my sony blu ray for a couple of years, and plays everything perfectly. Basically I figure it's because they invited the technology, so they build their stuff the best!

Oppo for the win on a TWO YEAR OLD post. Forget Sony or Samsung, both are cheap.

Depends on what you want it for - if just for films then there are loads around at decent prices. If you want some sort of a universal player (to play CD, SACD, DVDa discs) and plan to hook up to a 5.1 receiver, then you may wish to look at Oppo and Denon.

PS4 is a good choice nowadays.
