So I have been running two separate Sony 400 DVD changers for a couple of years now, and decided to replace the older of the two, with the new SONY BDP-CX960 Blu-Ray changer

The way I had my configuration on the remote set up in the past was: You press on a bitmap (movie poster for the appropriate DVD) and it ran a series of commands "Display, pause, enter, pause, 3, pause, 1, pause, 4, pause, enter, pause, display, pause, display) and then the menu screens would disappear and the changer would go to disc 314 and play it. It is happened that the DVD was on the other 400 changer, there would be additional lines for which changer to send the IR code to, and they were of course set differently, and on different video inputs to my plasma.

Well now I have the Blu-Ray changer. I have a series of commands links to the blu-ray bitmaps, to turn the tv and receiver to the appropriate inputs for video/audio... but I cannot seem to figure out how to select disc 18 (for example) to get it to play that exact disc.

Do you always have to go to the "guide" part of the changer to see all the DVDs or can you input the slot number for a specific DVD and have it play it? If so, how do you do that?

Thank you

Mike
