i have a client that has a BD-P1500 that he says as of recently will not play some movies. he said it will play the previews but when it gets to the menu screen it displays a red no smoking sign(without the cigerette) when pressing play or select. he did say they were newer movies. i do know that the unit is not hooked up to the network and was wondering if this is a problem that can be solved with an update via the net or are there other issues at work? any help would be appreciated! thanks

Andrew

It needs an update.

It's not just an issue with Samsung.

ALL BD players need to be updated to play the latest movies.
