Deal: Blu-ray Sale at Amazon - Buy 2, 3rd Free

Amazon renews their 3-fer deal on over 50 Blu-ray titles.

If you missed Amazon’s February Blu-ray sale, or, more likely, hadn’t chosen sides yet, it looks like you’ll get another shot at their 3-fer offer. Ironically, the list of available movies is a bit shorter this time (58 in all), but quality-wise there’s at still a few gems.

Notable selections include: Blade Runner (Five-Disc Complete Collector’s Edition) for $27.95 (can that be right?), Lord of War for $27.95, and Unforgiven for $19.95.

Annoyingly, I've NEVER taken Amazon up on their freebie sales... everything on the lists I either bought when new, or have no interest in.

Amazon.ca never has deals. (You do know Amazon.com will ship music/movies/books to Canada? Usually the savings outweigh shipping costs.)

very interesting, how long have you been ordering from there? i tried to order from them just over a year ago (could be longer) and could have sworn it redirected me to amazon.ca stating it wouldnt allow shipments outside of the 48(?) states.

i just went and checked it out, and you're quite right it will allow shipping anywhere on the globe, it even automatically links all my payment and address info from amzn.ca which it didnt before. i'll definately use them for items i cant find on .ca, or stuff i dont mind waiting a little longer to ship. do they hit you with any kind of duty bill upon arrival?

ps:i did notice a CD i just ordered from a private seller on amzn.ca i paid $7.97 for a new copy, whereas the cheapest one from a private seller on amzn.com was $39.99! anything available direct from amzn.com does seem to be signifigantly cheaper than amzn.ca though.

I have been ordering for some time now. Shipment is expensive (8$ foir the first one and 3$ for each of the rest) but for sales and group buys it can be worth it. And the delay is not too bad.

BTW got 3 during the sale + the three new BD releases (The Dewey Cox Story , The Water Horse and Baron Munchausen

and no, so far I have never had duty or anything (though maybe in Ontario it might be different)

PS use regular
