Are there ANY current dvd players or recorders with or without hard drives that can play COMMERCIAL COPY PROTECTED discs in such a way that a connected vcr can record a "CLEAN" video without the usual unwatchable NOISE introduced by the CP disc? I am concidering a "CP REMOVER box that is sandwiched between the two. My WINDOWS CLASSIC PLAYER(computer) can deliver a clean signal for recording, via a vga/analog converter. Why does the same logic NOT hold true for a player/vcr combiation? COMBINATION units of all types have the same problem. Opinions and/or advice?

A video stabilizer removes Macrovision.
No idea why you'd want to copy a copy-protected DVD to VHS. I could understand the other way around.
