I need to get a VCR for a Client's system, I am using RTI T2+, what friendly-IR VCR do you guys use, any recos? thanks a ton.

Hmm. I'd probably recommend a JVC SVHS machine at this point. They're about the only ones still making a VCR that costs more than $50, and full discrete codes too.

Agreed, we use the HR-S5901 (I think it has been replaced by the 5902 now). They look decent and have full IR codes, plus A and B codesets so you could place two side by side and be able to control both without IR routing.

How about the JVC HR-S9911. Does it have full discretes as well? I was thinking of getting one.

I own about 80 movies that are only available on VHS. Never done in Laserdisc or DVD. If those 80 movies come out on DVD I would not need a player. Until that time....
