Does anyone know where I can get a remote modulator? Not an RF modulator, but a wireless connection from my cable box to another TV.

I have heard that possibly RCA makes these.

You would plug a box into the cable receiver, then a box into the TV you want to connect to & just point those two boxes towards each other & get reception.

Yeah...there's one called Leapfrog if that's what you're talking about. But, I'm not sure if that's really it because you call it a "modulator". It's not really a modulator, I'd call it a transmitter. You're basically transmitting the RCA (phono) signal through RF from TV to TV. So you don't actually need to point them at each other.

I believe Radioshack also sells these.

OK, thanks. I'll check Radio Shack out.

Reason I called it a modulator is b/c I thought it was the same principal as a wireless MP3 connection >> MP3 to modulator, then wirelessly to car radio station.

This is Radioshack's one. It is a bit pricy at $99.99. The Terk LF30S also uses the 2.4 GHz band, and it can be found much cheaper online than the Radioshack one. All depends on convienence, I guess.

It is a modulator, the baseband audio and video 'modulate' the RF carrier.

Keep your receipt and the packaging. Sometimes these work great at fifty feet and sometimes poorly at twenty. There is some antenna aiming involved, but they are pretty easy to set up.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
