Keep in mind that any given piece of equipment will only draw as much 'power' as it needs.
If you 'upgrade' to 4 gauge wire for your projector and plug it in to your 14/2 outlet, your not likely to notice ANYTHING except a very unruly wire that is hard to configure into an attractive 'loop' to your projector!
It will still only draw 4 amps!
It doesn't matter if you use djy's 'super conductor' or the supplied cord.
Every day is a good day.......some are just better than others!

Proud to say that my property is protected by a high speed wireless device!

Perhaps I should have mentioned that I use my amp for a bit of welding, from time to time.

See, this is why I don't talk to anyone about wires anymore. How exactly are my comments related to somebody using esoteric power cords? I bought the $7.25 14AWG cord instead of the $6.75 16AWG cord. Oooohhh, I'm nuts. Somebody stop me before I go broke!!

F-ing EEs.

Go on, be a devil. Or better still; just don't ask how much.

That's the cord I have on my toaster. If it does for video what it does for my english muffins, you won't be disappointed.

So we can add this to the 'can do' list of a Bose Lifestyle System.

Far more than a power cord, a Monster power conditioner will really help.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

" a Monster power conditioner will really help."

It will help by lightening your wallet...it won't have any effect on anything else though.

This thread made me chuckle.... When I set up my room I was thinking Caddie she had Hundie in her mind for spending.... So I ran a home run from the cellar to a new double socket with twenty gut wrenching amps ready to do battle for me. I bought a rack mountable high watt unconditional power supply and plugged everything through it. Here in Ct frequent outages keep most people in the dvd dark. But not me. I replaced the small built in lead batterys with a set of six Exide 480 amp gel cells. I can watch tv at full surrond studio volumes for days... The power cords that came with the gear don't seem to mind a bit either, they work just fine..........

"high watt unconditional power supply "

Unconditional? ;)

"I replaced the small built in lead batterys with a set of six Exide 480 amp gel cells"

Did you replace the charging circuit as well?

I've had this discussion with car-audio enthusiasts who believe they need a massive alternator because they added multiple batteries.

Once the batteries are initially charged, the alternator only needs to be large enough to supply (replace) power actually used. The only advantage of extra batteries is for extended engine-off run time.

You only need an increased recharge capacity if you feel the need to recharge the batteries faster than the original charger can.
