I have an RCA Universal Remote that I would like to program to control my PlayStation 2. Does anybody know where I would be able to find the appropriate code(s) in order to do so?
I've tried all of the Sony DVD Player codes, and none of them work. I'm fresh out of ideas.
Any help would be appreciated.

Try the sony DVD codes again, they work, I have used them.
Of course you are using the IR receiver that plugs into the memory card slot, right?
If still having problems , why not get a RF Playstation controller?

Regular Sony DVD codes work all of the functions EXCEPT power (on/off) and reset. Once you program the remote, turn the PS2 on by hand and all the other functions will be there. This is true regardless of whether you're using an older PS2 wih the 'add-on' IR receiver or the new slim PS2 with built-in IR. I haven't found anyone that knows a code to also operate the power and reset functions.

Hi, i have a one PS2 and HT Sony Remote Control, but i don't know the code for the remote control.
