Sean, save the money. Buy a $300 DVD and get the Denon 5700 as your receiver. Pan A120 or Tosh 2109 are pretty good. JMO - Carl

I just got a Panasonic A320 and am very happy with it. It has built in Dolby Digital and DTS decoders.

The Best: Sony 7700, Toshiba SD-2109

The Worst: Some of the Sony's that have lipsync problems

good luck!

It's the current generation that had the lip-sync problems (S330, S530D & S550D) but they have a fix for that now.

I've heard the SD9000 blows all others out of the water. Even the Sony 7700. A magazine reviewed it and the guy says he isn't giving it back and in his opinion is the best one out there. I believe you can get one for about $600-$700.
