Universal has released three of John Hughes 'Brat Pack' classics; Sixteen Candles, the Breakfast Club, and Weird Science in a three-DVD set called the "High School Reunion Collection". The good news is the sound tracks have been remastered in to 5.1 surround and the pixture is Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1. The bad news is that Universal has tacked 4 minutes of trailers for these 3 DVDs and severial others onto the BEGINNING OF EACH DISK! If you have a Sony DVD player you'll not be able to skip over these ads! (You can fast-forward thru them.)
Is it worth it? Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheeny & Kelly Lebrock, yea I guess so. . .
