Hi,
I have just purchased the Panasonic DMR-E30 for £190.00 from a local comet store here in the UK, although it don't have a remote (they are ordering me one) I would like to know if any of you guys can recommend any DVD-R or Ram disks that you know have a very high success rate with the E30, Because I have heard that the E20/E30 are very temperamental about what disks will work with them.
Getting a DVD writer for £190 was too good an opportunity to pass :) so any help you can give regarding good media would be appreciated.

I use Aladdin 2x DVD-R in my DMR-E30, no problems, they are about 70p for blanks. I also tried Princo 2x, but they failed at 1-2 mins in, but worked ok the second time. A bit of a nightmare when doing real time recording from TV.

The Optodisc DVD-RAM discs are Panasonic certified and available here in the States for about $6 from online vendors. Have worked flawlessly for me in my E60. JG
