Thanks for tracking down the codes...just purchased an HLN507W1 and a ProntoNG. I'm an AV rookie so this site has been invaluable.

I tried the codes you supplied...some work, some don't. Specifically these worked:

Power Off/On (Actually, the old codes worked for Power On/Off. I didn't change them.)

These codes didn't work:
All the aspects (16:9, 4:3, Z1, Z2, Panorama)

I contacted Samsung to get the discrete code before I found your post...their response was "you need the optional upgrade for the 507W." They didn't seem to know that the W1's are different than the W's (or didn't notice the "1" in my model number). Do you have a contact at Samsung you worked with to get these (that you can share)???

Anyway, thanks for the ones that do work...I'm much better off than I was!

Question for you. Did you have an active source hooked to every input? Some people have been reporting that the W1s wont go to an input that isn't connected. Also, you said that s-video 2 worked and didn't work.

I did not have sources hooked up for every input, I'll try that tonight (however, some of the codes that "worked" did not have sources hooked up).

Sorry about the SV2 mixup...one of those should be SV3. I'll test again and post a correction.

Jason, I have a HLN437W with the model code number HLN437W1X/XAA. Are you familiar with any discrete input codes for this model or this type of model code?

These are for the HLN series sets. To the best of my knowledge, the 50 is the only version of the W1 currently shipping with the new code sets.

Re-tested. Doesn't seem to matter if a source is connected or not for the Discrete codes that work.

S-Video 2 does NOT work. S-Video 3 works.

Don't know what else to try. The only codes I need are the picture size/aspects, and the Antenna input. I don't have that many sources, so the discrete codes that work are meeting 70% of my needs.

Any ideas?

Got your email. No change from the results I mentioned earlier. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with the 255 codes...I started trying them, but the light on the TV that blinks when it's receiving IR doesn't come on when I sampled about 50 of them. Am I missing something?

The DVI code you posted above works...one more in the bag!!!!

As Rook was trying above, is it a manner of trying all 255 codes??? till we hit the right one?? If so, if I could get the file with all the codes I could try some more. If anyone finds out what the new codes are, please post.

I also put the TV into test mode (mute, 1, 8, 2, power) and this is the version at the bottom. VER: T_DLPGVE01_1017, would the SW version be 1017? Other post were stating 214 or greater for some codes. This seems like a big jump in SW.
