We have a Philips Pixcel Plus 36 inch widescreen TV "36PW9527" (New Zealand model TV), purchased a year ago and non of the latest Philips codes work, I have been looking for AV and ratio decrete codes for months, I have tried e-mailing Philips but they are of no help at all, I can't believe you purchase a high end TV from Philips and a high end remote control and you still can't control your TV!!!!.....I am beginning to ask myself what is the point in buying products from Philips????....is anyone able to give me any ideas on where to go next???

Have you tried the ccf files in the download section here:

www.pronto.philips.com

You have to join first, but IIRC the 2002 file has specific commands for the Pixel Plus.

Yes I have downloaded both the 2002 and 2003 and non of them work. In fact they have no affect at all on the TV other than the AV and Ratio Toggle buttons. When they posted the latest ones in November I thought for sure that would have them but no :o(

What model of the Pronto are you using?

Most of those commands are in the "database format" and not all models "understand" that.

I am not sure the TSU3000 understands the RC5 database structure. Here are the "classic" Pronto hex commands in learned format. The beginning is the legend of commands found in the 2002 file for Pixel Plus:

The AV1 "discrete" command is a macro you will need to find those pronto hex commands and then set up a macro in order. All the rest of the commands are as labeled.

Please let us know if this works.
