Hi guys. I'd really like to get a hold of discrete hex codes or a series of commands that are guaranteed to take me straight to any particular input on a pioneer DVR 530/630. It'd be nice to have a macro for recording from various other components in our client's systems. Anyone know of any input discretes or anchor buttons for this series of DVD/HDD recorders?

This is for the 533. I didn't see any input selections on the command list though.

You've got mail. I sent you the whole ccf. Maybe you can find what you're looking for inside these files.

Thanks for your mail and suggestions, ATOH. Unfortunately none of those leads arrive at a discrete input command for the 30 series DVRs I'm dealing with. I've attempted a typical input anchor: channel number -delay-input select. Unfortunately the component is "smart" in that it remembers which input you were on last when you switch from an external input to a tuner channel, so the toggle problem is still there. Would you happen to know of any DVD recorder/HDD combos or PVRs with external inputs that have means to jump straight to particular inputs?

Incidentally I haven't tested that on and off code, ATOH. I have used the discrete on and off from the files section successfully, however. If what you posted are the same codes then yeah, they work.

They came right off the Pioneer website so I would assume they work. Sorry I don't have any anchors for you, I try to stay away from anything Pioneer except for their displays so I don't have any "workarounds" for you.
