I need the Pronto Hex to program discrete power for my new Dune H1.

I've tried the codes found in older threads. But they don't work. One of them was:

0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94

Here is a learned code from the stock remote:
0000 006D 0024 0000 0156 00AB 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0040 0015 0040

0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0016 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016

0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 061A 0154 0055 0015 562D

This is what the Dune firmware file says about it:

>>>>>>>>>>>
All Dune HD Remotes use NEC protocol. Old and New Remotes have different customer codes:

  • New Remote: 00 BF
  • Old Remote: 01 BE

Starting with the firmware version 091229_1411_beta, all Dune HD player models have support for DISCRETE-POWER-ON and DISCRETE-POWER-OFF IR commands. These IR commands can not be generated using any Dune HD Remote, and are intended only for users of programmable remotes.

IR HEX codes for DISCRETE-POWER-ON and DISCRETE-POWER-OFF commands (NEC protocol, customer code 00 BF):

DISCRETE-POWER-ON 00 BF 5F A0 DISCRETE-POWER-OFF 00 BF 5E A1

I have a much later firmware so Discrete should work. Can someone tell me how to vonvcert the 4 hex codes to pronto hex? Thanks,Scott

I backed into it with makehex.  For others and posterity, here are the current Dune firmware IR codes for discrete power on and off:

Device Code: 0.191 Function: 94 (OFF)
0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94
Device Code: 0.191 Function: 95 (ON)
0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94

And if you use URC, their IR database for TopMenu is wrong.  This is correct:
Pop-up Menu:

Protocol=NEC1 Device=0.191 OBC=7
0000 006D 0024 0000 0156 00AB 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0040 0015 0040

This is one reason I like Dune - they do take CI-friendly suggestions into account, and discrete power codes were one of those. I've been very happy with my Prime 3.0... hopefully the forthcoming HD Max 3D is pretty good.
