I need discrete codes for power on both devices and I'd sell you my first born if you can find a way to discretely jump to inputs on the Sony TV.

I did a search through the files section before posting and nothing came up for that exact TV. Is there a series that works with most? I don't know which models will carry the same signals and I don't really want to go through a few hundred models and try them all...

All Sony TV's use the same commands. If the TV isn't HD and doesn't have a DVI input then it just will not respond to Video 7 etc.

You will not hurt anything by trying those commands.

You were absolutely right. Thank you so much for your help. You are entitled to my first born.

Now if only I could get my remote back for my AVR-4802 so that I can program the output selection, I'll be more or less done with my config!

I've looked through several of them and I can't identify which of their outputs is refering to which outputs in the receiver. It's not a big deal at this point as my old Denon remote should be fixed and returned shortly.
