Does anyone have discrete on/off codes for the ReplayTV 5040 model? I/m not sure who manufactured it and don't know how to search for discretes for this model.

Thanks for the pointer. I think what you referred me to are pronto hex codes. I did not elaborate enough in my original message. If possible I need the single discrete code that I can use with my URC-4730 then in turn teach my mx-500. Does such a code exist for power on/power off functions for the Replay?

This is the site, assuming that the URC-4730 is an OFA remote. But unless the URC-4730 is JP1 compatable then I think you are out of luck. The ReplayTV does respond to discrete power commands.

FWIW, I have a 5040 and even though my remote is programmed for the discrete commands I leave it On all the time.

I can send you a .m5 file for use with http://www.irclone.com, for the ReplayTVs. I have not tested it with a 5xxx, but it should work.

The file has discrete codes for controlling up the three unique ReplayTVs.
