Does your Sony work with setup code audio_0158?
If not look in the manual that came with your receiver and change to AV1. Some of the newer Sony receivers come with the default from the factory set at AV2.
Once you get it working you can get discrete commands by the process of assigning advanced codes=EFC's from
www.hifi-remote.com look in the manuals there for the 15-1994.
The discrete codes are found here for the One For All (OFA) remotes:

The Panasonic commands are also there for your TV. I assume that you are using TV_0250 for your TV. EFC 022 = On and EFC 026 = Off.
If you look under the advanced codes list by setup code you can find other discrete commands for inputs etc.
