I have a Sony SLV-740HF VCR. I've used the "learn" function on my ProntoNEO to get the codes for the "TV/VTR" and "Input Select" buttons on my original remote. ("Input Select" toggles between the cable input and the Line input jacks.) I copied some codes from somebody's NCF file and found that they had discrete versions of these buttons. The problem is, that they only had half of each pair. That is, there was a "VTR" discrete code but no "TV" code to get back. Likewise, there was a "Line" discrete code and no "Cable" code to get back. For now, I've worked around this by first using one of the discrete codes followed by the normal "toggle" code. This works, but it's ugly. Does anyone no where to get these codes?
