The 4802 is a subset of the 5803- all the 5803 codes are in the files section [Link: remotecentral.com]. Also my ccf in the files section has a 4800 in it which is the same as the 4802 with less discretes. I could email you just the 4802 codes as I did them for a friend and still have the files. dwg

DWG -
I've tried the 5803 codes on my 4802, and it seems only the commands which are also available on the factory remote are effective on the 4802. IE, none of the independent channel level commands, etc. are effective. Does this sound right? I'd love to find discrete codes for adjusting each channel level, since I can do this on my $200 Sony. Anyone had any luck?

Kirk,
The 4802 does not support the independent channel level commands. On the denon site download the 4802 remote codes pdf for a complete list of what is available in the 4802. I also have the 4802 code list in an excel spreadsheet I did for a friend if you'd like it.

Kirk,
I saw your message on the OFA forum but thought I would answer it here. The 4803 has the following commands according to the Denon Website. These have been translated so you can use MakeHex. You could also use them with an OFA remote and teach your Sony remote or any other learning remote.
