how do i get discrete codes into the mx 700. i have a dish 501 set on remote address 2. I'm looking to get discrete power codes into it. I read somewhere i can get them into a cheap learning remote, then learn tem into the mx 700. I have an old one for all cinema 7...will this work? if so, how do i do it.

Try Setup code Sat_0775 in your Cinema7 and assign Advanced codes=EFC 002 is On and EFC 174 is Off. Details on doing that at www.hifi-remote.com in te C7 manual. -Jon
