I've been trying for too much time to create a new Function in PEP2 and add discrete codes for the function from [Link: remotecentral.com]

In PEP2 I can add a new function (TEST1) but cannot for the life of me cut and paste the HEX codes into PEP. I tried copying them to the notepad, then into PEP2, no success. I reviewed the instructions found in the FAQ's, but I must be missing something basic. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me through this basic problem. If I could find the remote I could LEARN the codes from this old remote, but cannot locate it - Pioneer CU-SX148.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Create a component in my database and paste your code into a function within the component. You might also want to post PEP2 questions to the pronto pro forum.

You may also want to enable advanced mode in pep2 under the options menu.

Once you have a new function added, you must add the component to your project or replace an existing component with the updated one to have the new function made available in PEP2 for use in your project.

Email me if you still cannot figure it out. Some screenshots would be really helpful.
