Hello

I found a bin file that should contain IR code of Haier tv.

I tried to open the file as plain text but it didn't say anything, so I also tried to open it with some HEX editor, and I got this:



which also doesn't mean a lot to me.

is there a program or a way to decode a bin file of an IR remote control?

It may be a Slingbox file. Try the JP1 forum [Link: hifi-remote.com] , subforum Slingbox, where Slingbox experts hang around.

(However, "irda" gives me cold feet. Irda is something quite different form "customer IR" that we use to control our favorite "toys".)

I don't think it's slingbox because I got this bin file from this open source project:

I know it's in Chinese but you can use google translate and see it in english.
it looks like a treasure! with lot's of IR codes for many many devices but I can't get the data from the bin...
