I have a customer with a 8000 pvr and a 3100hd in the same cabinet on the same tv??????

imagine the problems I'm having programming his pronto?

I wonder if there is a way in a particular service menu to change address codes or something
any help appreciated

You could use a ProntoPro w/RF receiver, and control one with IR and the other with RF

this a good way to do it, but the only problem is that pronto rf kit don't work that good. i tried to use it few times no luck, the rf singnal is not strong. it may be cause i used in nyc, so many signals in the air, it might work good some palce else.

I also have 2 Scientic Atlanta boxes. Is there ANY way to control these independently?

well it can also be done with xantech gatekeeper system, i was able to do discrete power for S.A. cable box with gatekeeper.

yes discrete power with the gatekeeper system. xantech offers 6 diffrant kind sensors. i'm using the light sensor, placed right on tor of the power LED on the box. now the gatekeeper knows the status of the cable box, so that's how you can control the gate of the sensor and ir. it works great man. find out more about it at [Link: smarthomeusa.com]
