Anyone have codes for this? I learned the remote functions, which are toggle bit... of course. And sennheiser supplied an RC5 code list with no system information, and they won't answer me.

I need the codes for RTI, so HEX is preferable.

THis is the sum total of the information I have.

based on RC5 protocol
ON/OFF 11
MUTE 12
AMBEO 20
SOURCE+ 17
SOURCE- 18
VOL+ 13
VOL- 14
ROOM CAL 21
MPB 53
PRE_MOVIE 91
PRE_SPORTS 92
PRE_SPEECH 93
NEUTRAL 94
NIGHTMODE 95

IN HDMI1 22
IN HDMI2 23
IN HDMI3 24
IN HDMI TV 25
IN BLUETOOTH 26
IN AUX 27
IN OPTICAL 28

Am I wrong in thinking that more info is needed? No converter tool I know of only asks for the command number.

Thanks all

There are only 32 different ones to try...

I learned the remote functions

Why don't you just decode one of them with IrScrutinizer? The system address is called "D" there, use thar for system address. IrScrutinizer can also be used for generating Pronto Hex from the parameters.

I am having the same issues. Sennheiser have just yesterday acknowledged that the system code is 19. I have tried Pronto and MakeHex to generate codes but nothing seems to work. I will check out IRSrutinizer to see if that helps.

Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.

I am wondering if anyone got anywhere with this. I am looking to implement an Ambeo soundbar with RTI this week. I have word out to someone I know who has experience with IRScrutinizer, but if you've already got a .cml library after your efforts it would be great to get hold of it. Thanks for any information you can offer.

I learned some of the codes from the OEM remote today using the IR Pro, and they worked when I tested with them from a T4x. I sent them to my buddy to see if he can generate the discrete inputs for me using that information and some additional data from Sennheiser.

Sadly, Sennheiser confirmed that there are no discrete power codes. Their engineers are fresh out of college and haven't lived in the real world. We'll have to wait for them to grow up.

I am going to see if the USB port on the soundbar can be used to sense its power state. I'll feed it to a sense port on the XP processor if it does. That way I can manage power of the device, and use the discrete input commands to select the source I want.

My buddy came through and got me the IR codes in Pronto format based on the documentation from Sennheiser.

You'd think they'd do better given the kind of gear they sell ($2,500 for the Ambeo soundbar), but not only can Sennheiser fail at writing IR codes (no discrete power - really?), they also fail at maintaining the ones they do have, because their spreadsheet had some errors. Sound mode presets were confused, and the Night Mode was missing. They listed a Night Mode, but it was a sound mode of Neutral. My buddy found the Night Mode toggle code from the learned codes I sent him.

Attached is an RTI .cml file with working codes. Of course, no discrete power, but I haven't gone through all the permutations of unlisted codes that he generated for me.

OK, I can't upload the file here.   I'll figure out where to do that.

If you could figure out a way to share it, that would be really helpful! I'm trying to set one of these up remotely.

I was able to generate hex codes that worked for my URC MX-980. I used this RC5 to Hex utility [Link: remotecentral.com] along with the command codes in the first post (actually used an Excel file posted to AVS Forum) and specified System Address of 19 as mentioned above.

I'll see if I can find a way to post the info. In testing the codes, I found that some of the modes are incorrectly labeled and one of them is missing. Oddly, Power & Mute work but they only work once for some reason. In other words, if I turn power off, I can't turn it on. If I mute, I can't unmute. Learning from the AMBEO remote works properly though. The info I'm looking to post will include those notes as well.

EDIT: Not ideal but I've shared it via my Google Drive:
