I need a skip button for a Comcast x1 dvr on a universal remote, I can get it on the x1 remote but have no way to learn it into the universal remote (mx900) Thank you

Yes you do, MX900 has learning capabilities.
When all else fails, read the manual.

yes i know it does but the x1 remote is not firing off an ir code only rf so it cannot be learned. thank you

If I remember correctly, if you unpair the Comcast remote, then it will send IR.
To unpair, hold down setup until the top light turns green and hit 987
|
