So I have been trying to look for hex codes for the new Wally Receiver from Dish Network. I found an old thread with codes for the VIP922 receiver which seem to work fine. However, for whatever reason, the "0" code does not work. All other numbers work fine. Can someone help me out with the code for the number zero?

Thanks in advance for your help...

Yeah, the code for 0 in that thread is wrong. Should be:

0000 0048 0001 0011 0017 015F 0017 00A4 0017 005E 0017 00A4 0017 00A4 0017 00A4 0017 005E 0017 00A4 0017 00A4 0017 00A4 0017 00A4 0017 00A4 0017 00A4 0017 00A4 0017 00A4 0017 00A4 0017 00A4 0017 015F

Thank you for this code. I will try it when I get home. Would you mind sharing what you have for numbers "0-9" and also for "enter"? You might have better codes than me and I want to make sure I have the most up to date codes.

Thanks,
Edgar

The other numbers and enter are essentially the same codes as mine. My remote doesn't use pronto hex format, so I generated it for your benefit. I also haven't had Dish for 5 years. Dish codes haven't changed in many years. Hopper, Joey, Wally, 922, 722, 211, 222, 612, 622 and probably many others all use the same codes.

Here are all my codes in JP1 format that I posted back in 2010 which includes quite a few more functions than I've seen posted elsewhere. You can generate pronto hex from them using IRScrutinizer. You must be a member of the site to download files.

I would say that codes generated by IRScrutinizer are the most accurate, more accurate than those based on learns.

Sure thing. Now I see why the code for 0 is wrong in the other thread. A long press of 0 sends a different command - System Wizard, which is exactly what his posted code is, rather than the short press which is actually 0. So when he held 0 down long enough to learn, he got the wrong code.

I'll go ahead and post this in that thread.
