If the old HDMI 4 code doesn't work, try updating the firmware on the TV.

if that still doesn't work, then you are out of luck.  Many newer Samsung TVs don't have a discrete code for HDMI 4.

You could build a macro that jumps to hdmi3, then sends a source command to go up to hdmi 4.  obviously that isn't a great solution, but it may be your only one.

Searched for ages for this and tried all 256 codes for mine (UK JS8000), and got nowhere. Also got my supplier to try Samsung, with out joy. Looks like it either is supressed, or does not exist.

Tried a macro but it was only 70% reliable, so bought a cheap £15 3 way HDMI switch, plugged that into HDMI3 on the TV, and both the devices into that, it has discrete commands for the 3 inputs.

So HDMI4 = HDMI3 (TV) HDMI 2 (switch) etc.

Yeah, the macro I made ended up being so long to be reliable, that I used an HDMI switch instead as well.
