Hi everyone,
I am a newbie to remote controls. My broke me remote control of my lg 42lb5800 which is a smart tv and had a remote control with a smart button. Now i cannot get the smart function of the tv and has been using cell phone app to control tv. Recently i got hold of old lg remote control which has all the funcation and work good except the smart button(model no AKB73715608), I am wondering is there any way i change code of any of the button which i dont need into smart button code?. Any help is highly appreciated.

Sorry, but no. Preprogrammed only oem remote is stuck with whatever's preset from the factory.

If you have cable, you likely already have a remote to which the function could be added. Otherwise such a remote is around $4 on eBay.
