I have a prodidy processor and an Ipad that I am using to control the system. For an LG tv most of the commands work perfectly, however for the arrow keys, volume, and a few others when I press it once it happens twice. (ex: volume is on 10, I press the volume up button once, and it goes 11 and stops on 12)
Any reason why this would be happening and any possible fixes?

Did you learn the codes or take them from their database? If you learned them in "DEAL" then set the repeats to 1. Highlight all your codes, go to "modify" in the tool bar and press "header details" set "default min repeats" to 1.
