Hi all,

I have a Denon AVR-3803 receiver that I need help with. When I bought the receiver, it didn't come with the original remote, so I bought a Logitech Harmony 350 remote to hopefully work as a replacement.

I got the remote partially working with the receiver. I can adjust the receivers volumes and input selection fine. However, when I try to access my receiver's system setup menu, I run into issues.

Using the Harmony 350's software wizard, I bound the "Setup" command to my remote's menu button. However, when I press the menu button, nothing happens on the receiver.

I think the "Setup" command that Logitech has associated with the Denon AVR-3803 is incorrect. I read somewhere that it was possible to email Logitech support with specific command codes and ask them to program it into a specific button on a Harmony remote.

Would anyone happen to have the code that I would need to send to Logitech support to ask them to program it into my remote? I would appreciate the help, thank you!

I looked up the IR codes for the commands on my AVR-3803 and used a hex converter. The hex code I got seems to be similar to what you wrote:

0000 006D 0000 0020 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0679 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 0679

I emailed Logitech support asking them to add that hex code as a new command to my AVR-3803 in the MyHarmony software. I'll report back on how that goes.
