Have the discrete codes changed, I have tried all the ones I have been able to locate on here like the ones below and some olders ones, I am using IRplus for Android to test the code and planned on learning it on my URC once I have it working, if anyone can offer any further codes to try I would really appreciate it.

Hi, I have found and downloaded a file that is for a JP1 remote, it appears to have what I need, however it is not in the pronto hex format I believe I need to use with IRPlus, is there anyone that could possibly help and armature get this converted into a usable format, really appreciate any help it is the HDMI inputs I need although I am not adverse to power discretes.

JP1 files aren't really human readable. You need to install Remote Master, and open the file in that. Then download IR Scrutinizer. Use the protocol, device, subdevice and OBC from the functions tab to generate the pronto hex. It's probably going to match the ones you posted earlier since Sony codes haven't changed in years.

Here are the results:

Protocol    Dev  Sub     OBC  Function
Sony15    26    none    90    Hdmi 1
0000 0068 0000 0010 0060 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0330

Sony15    26    none    91    Hdmi 2
0000 0068 0000 0010 0060 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0318

Sony15    26    none    92    Hdmi 3
0000 0068 0000 0010 0060 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0330

Sony15    26    none    93    Hdmi 4
0000 0068 0000 0010 0060 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0318

EDIT: I just converted the original pronto hex you posted, and it does indeed match the codes above. So what you found in the JP1 file is the same as your original post. Any differences you see are just insignificant timing differences. The codes are identical.

The HDMI signals in that JP1 upgrade are identical to the Pronto Hex in your first post.  Sony 15, device 26,  function codes 90 (HDMI1) to 93 (HDMI4).
The chances that Sony have changed these codes are very low.  It's more likely that IRTrans or you have an error.

I'm after the hex codes for several of the functions identified in the file above. I've loaded the remotemaster toolset, but haven't been able to find the corresponding hex output.

Would someone be able to identify the high level steps for getting the hex out put? I've got the file opened in remotemaster and I've loaded protocol builder, but haven't found joy.

Thanks,

T.

Hi, I did get mine working in the end if I recall correctly URC support sent me 4 digit codes to map buttons to codes in their database, would it help you if read my configuration and sent it over, I’ll have to find me serial cable.
