Hello,

I'm trying to make an Android app for my phone for CT-90380 remote (TV model 40pu200V). I can use the code for the ct-9726 for power/volume/channel, but when I need to change to HDMI or other input, the tv shows nothing.

Does anyone know the code for input button for this model? (in format 0000 ...)

Thanks in advance and have a nice holiday :D

Toshiba input code hasn't changed in at least 20 years.

0000 006C 0022 0002 015B 00AD 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 05F7 015B 0057 0016 0E6C

Why not use discrete input codes instead?

I don't remember I have tried this one, but I will give it a try at home. Thanks :)

PS: To clarify: I'm not sure if I am correct or not, but my goal is to simulate the input button to change the TV from TV -> HDMI1-> HDMI2... on other tv like lg or sharp, it works OK if I use the input code that I got from remotecentral. So the code you gave me is for that input button, right?

And do you know the discrete input codes for my tv model?

I don't understand why anybody with a programmable remote would want that, but yes I gave you the Input command that cycles. But there is no need to do it that way. There are commands that go directly to specific inputs with a single command. Or you can simply press an input number after the input command. So Input 6 might go to HDMI 3.

And yes I know all the discrete input codes for your TV.

Just curious, but where did you find the other codes that didn't include an Input code?

Hello,

The code didn't work on my TV :( when I press it it shows nothing (when I press the input button on my remote, it shows TV, HDMI...) The reason I did it was I have like 3 different branches of TV, and just try to make the remote on my phone generic and small.

Here is the link that I found for the CT-9726:
[Link: remotecentral.com]

It includes the input code but it also doesn't work on my TV.

That's the only input code Toshiba has. Perhaps your program doesn't work.

That's seems strange. It works for LG, Sharp, and the code for on/off/volume/channel works for Toshiba, but not the input code... :(

Are you willing to spend any money? For $15, you can get a remote that can capture the Input command from the original remote and spit out pronto hex you can use on your phone.

I can have some receiver to record the signal, so I guess I will have to set it up to check. Thanks for your reply and have a great happy new year :D :)
