Perhaps i didn't look good enough but i am new around here. Does anyone have the discrete codes for multi zone functions? I am trying to program my touch panels and my universals to control the MZ functions. When my touch panels are completed, they will have IP control making things a little easier but I currently only have IR and RS232 set up properly at this point. Any help would be great because i really hate having to go back to the equipment rack to turn on the zones and grab the old remote to toggle sources and whatnot. I tried copying the codes a number of ways but no luck so i am sure there is a HDZ on/off HDZ source/ Zone 3 on/off etc.

Thank you in advance,

Did you check Pioneer's website?

[Link: pioneerelectronics.com]

Just choose a product that is near to your's or at least same model year. Even multi model years will work, but for what you looking for maybe a new IR code.

Yes, I don't know where to look tho. I read the manual and its not really stated in there. Changing the source on the zone requires selecting the zone and then changing the source but when I try to record the presses in sequence, individually and then program the sequence, only the master zone changes. It has been driving me crazy for 3 weeks now as the Zone toggle button doesn't send IR and the code doesn't change so I don't know what voodoo they are doing over there in Japan but yours truly is stumped by their wizardry.

I guess I could set up a trigger since their trigger menus seem comprehensive but unless I figure something out it will always bother me. Any help in advance is greatly appreciated.

Just down loaded the 2014 AVR codes but this computer doesn't have excel. God willing it is on there when I check upstairs. Thank you.

I may still have an issue however because the data is in XLS format and I believe via tools only supports XL files so I may have to dabble a little. I am building a custom system and using Via tools and sometimes Harmony to dump the programming into the devices until everything is completed since the project started off by hacking the via platform and using Harmonys as handhelds.

I'm gonna paste a couple of the codes. Test them to see if they work. If they do, let me know and I'll paste the rest. Just arrived at point be after a 5 hour drive...

I have was able to import them all but need to do a few more things before these touch panels get them. You wouldn't happen to have the rs232 codes or are they on the site? When I try and test these codes out the status doesn't flicker and the second click says com port still open. Trying to dump them into handhelds. Looks like I am going to have to make a few tech support code.

Also since the 85 and 89 have atmos that were a down loadable upgrade, and this has enough for a 5.2.2 or more with another amp - is there a way to hack the firmware to install the codec?

Does anyone else have an issue with zones dropping out? at first I thought it may be a issue with the hdmi handshake but even the stereo zone will drop out sometimes. I have more frequencies shooting around this place anyway but most are pluged in so who knows.

If they aren't on the Excel file, then they should be on the same site as above too.
