What kind of sofware can open a file that ends in .rcc?

it is a file that supposedly contains the codes for my TV and I can't figure out how to open it to get at the remote codes.

Could you post the file's name? Or at least the end ****.exe for example.

This could be a Universal Remote Control (URC) configuration file.

Which TV are you attempting to control? Which remote are you programming? It may be easier to deal with the IR codes directly, than extract them from an unfamiliar file.

Looks to be a MX3000 remote file from URC
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
