Hi,

I've searched high and low and tried various files from remotecentral but nothing seems to work.

Anyone know the discrete codes for Harman Kardon AVR151 AV Receivers?

Thanks,

Angelina

Harmony has discrete power along with audio, aux, cbl/sat, disc, game, radio, network, server, stb, tv, and usb.  Who knows if they work.

I didn't bother to look up your receiver. What inputs does it have?

Thanks for the replies.

I'll give the avr146 a go.

I've managed to scan the entire AVR151 remote's codes with lirc's irrecord program but I have no idea how to convert that to hex codes for rti. is that possible perhaps?

the receiver has the following inputs:

4 hdmi in numbered hdmi 1,2,3 and 4
2 analogue video inputs
fm radio

but if we talk about sources, on the remote it has the following:
Cable/Sat
STB
TV
Disc
Server
Aux
Audio
Game
AVR
USB
Network
Radio

The remote is called the AVR151 also. probably just a sticker over the real remote model number.
you can see an image of the remote here:

I just did a quick test with the AVR146 and that seems to control it. I need to do further testing to see if I can control everything but so far so good

This probably sounds terrible, but I don't want to dump the prog into my harmony then xlearn them to my pronto (and verify via IrScrutinizer).  It takes quite a bit of time, particularly in that I have found Harmony is a little sketchy firing from the soft button on screen, and I often have to remap codes to the hard buttons.

All that to say, tell me what codes you still need, after you have gone through the 146 code set.

Hi,

I finally got around to going through the codes and it seems like volume and power work. DVD works but none of the other inputs work.

I'm after Cable/Sat, Server, TV and any of the other inputs if you have time?

Thanks,

If you have the LIRC, IrScrutinizer will import and convert to any format. No need to dump, transmit, learn and re-analyze.
