I'm new to the forum and have a desperate need for the HEX Codes for the ATT Uverse S20-S1A remote. Seems like the older remote does not work on these new Uverse Boxes. I believe these are ARRIS STB's. I'm going to convert to AMX Hex Codes for an AMX system.

All of the U-verse remotes are supposed to be able to control any U-verse box. However, perhaps the new box needs a different setup code. Since this is a UEI remote, we may be able to recognize the setup code, and then generate the Pronto Hex for each function.

To blink back the setup code in use, try the the following with the OEM remote.
Enter Program Mode:
Press and hold the OK and Menu keys simultaneously for three seconds until the Power key flashes red twice to confirm you are in program mode.

Then,
Enter 991.  The remote should blink twice.
Press 1, and count the blinks.  The number of blinks is the first digit of the 5 digit setup code. No blinks means 0
Press 2, and count the blinks. This is the second digit.
Similarly, press 3, 4, and 5.
Post the 5 digit code here.

The above procedure works with many UEI remotes, but I don't know if it will work with the S20.
