Hey. I am looking for discrete IR codes for the PACE DZC3000NGT decoder.

Codes needed: "ON" and "OFF".


Pace refuses to give me technical support (and the codes) as the "end user", and my TV provider "Get" claims that they "don't know" what an IR code is...

Embarrasing.....


Hopefully you guys have it, or know a good workaround.

(I have tried other models, and the trick of pressing another button. i.e "1" for on, and Power for OFF......

For most cable and other decoders, discretes simply don't exist.  Pace makes other boxes for cable companies (like Xfinity), and those boxes don't  have discretes.

The reality is that there is no functional reason to turn off the box at all.  Most of the time all it does is disable the video output, which means you drop approx 5v of power.
