Which website did you use to determine the model correlation?

I guessed pretty well simply based on chasis and features, but was one year model back (36x), though that shouldn't have changed the codes.

Since the ID2 Vol+ worked....
Could I now try the ID2 Prologic Hex code?

Other than that... I did find the ID1/ID2 settings in the Manual and tried to change this on the Yamaha's remote.... It did not give me any type of blinking at the end of the commands to let me know if it was a Success or fail.

But then this only sets the Remote.... I'm using the MX900 remote so I'm not sure if this is possible to do.

Thanks,

The way to check which ID your receiver is  set to is on page 56 instead of 57. Sorry.
Actually, the Vol+ signal I posted is for ID1 and not ID2, so that's already a strong indicator that your receiver is on ID1.  But it certainly won't hurt to try the ID2 Prologic Hex.
The only thing I can think of is perhaps the receiver needs to be in a particular mode to respond to Prologic.  So use the OEM remote and step through the procedure to reach Prologic, trying the Prologic discrete at each step.

SysIntegration, the first of two links at the bottom of my last post goes to a Yamaha page which describes the 371 and 3064 as being basically the same.

Ok, I set the Receiver to 'Pro-Logic' and then did the Hex Code Drag to a button that was not in use.

It copies just fine but when testing it out... Again Nothing happens.

I'm a bit confused on the:
.....Prologic is NEC1 device 126, Function 201
That is before the Hex code.
I did go to 'IR Database Navigator' and picked 'Audio/NEC/NEC 1 and I don't see anything about 'Prologic'.

So what is the next step?

Wondering why the ID1 for 'Vol+' works find but the ID1 for 'Pro-Logic' does not work.

I did do a record Macro to get it to go to 'Pro-Logic' but it doesn't always settle on to the correct setting 2 times in a row. That is why I'd rather get a Hex code that works.

K, but does someone out there have the Hex Code to Pro-Logic for ID2.
Won't hurt to try it.
