Hi all,

After some sleuthing, I managed to come up with the discrete power codes for the RCA F32650. Below are the Pronto Neo codes. Hope these aren't dupes. I tried all the RCA TV codes I could find (properly converted to Neo format) but none of them worked.

Discrete On: (note: is the same code generated by the "switch the remote into TV mode" button)

0 f 6c 4 40 e 1d 72 39 e5 3f 5f bc be 13 11 21 12 11 12 22 22 12 21 22 21 c1 37

Discrete Off: (doesn't map to any key on the remote)

0 f 6c 4 40 e 1d 72 39 e5 3f 5f bc be 13 11 21 12 11 12 21 22 12 21 22 21 c2 37

Hope this helps someone. Now to tackle the input selects!

The inputs are the discrete On commands for:
RCA DVD
RCA VCR
RCA DSS

Those are posted in Pronto hex. Hopefuly you have a conversion program or can manually translate to the NEO format.

Hmmm. I have seen this posted before and tried the (I believe) properly converted codes. No luck.

Do you have this model TV and have you tried the codes, or are you reporting "common knowledge"? If you have gotten this to work, any thoughts about what I may be doing wrong?

Thanks for any info.

Michael,

I don't have an RCA TV, but it is common knowledge. I hang out with the JP1 group that Program OFA remotes with a PC interface. Most all RCA eqipment that we have run into (receivers and TV's) use the discrete power-on commands for Input select.

The logic is that if one has an all RCA suite of equipment, should you select the DVD input on your your TV, then the RCA DVD would also turn on.

Jon,

Yeah, I had heard that argument as well. Unfortunately, I've tried converting and using the Pronto codes from the listings here, and have had no luck.

Of course, I started with Pronto codes for the power, and those converted codes didn't work either. With a bit of work I was able to figure out that the converted verions were missing a hex digit and had screwed up part of the lead-in as well. By comparing with the codes I had downloaded from my remote, I could figure out what corrections to make and that gave me the working codes I posted above.

I have not had success trying the same on the input codes, but haven't given up yet. Thanks for your help.
