You may have some luck with the older Sony BDP-s300 codes which worked for many many models after.

Hi, everybody

does anybody know the Power On/Off discrete codes for the Blu-Ray player Sony BDP-S5200

Do I take this to mean that the standard Sony BDP discrete power codes no longer work for this model or that you did not know that they existed?

Sony hasn't changed their bluray power discrete codes since they released their first blurays.

These commands worked on  a S6500, although I ended up repeating the code since the player did not seem to respond consistently.
